I have a question about NDMP and NetApp FAS2020.
We have a Tapelibrary HP Autoloader 1/8 attached to a HP Proliant DL380 G5 Server.
The Tapelibrary is connected through FC on HP server.
Yesterday we replaced the network cable.
The new cabels are connected to the same switch "HP G48 Pocurve 2810 and the same ports.
Since this action is our Net App Backup very slow.
The job rate is 50 MB / min
We use Symantec Backup Exec 2010 R2
Previously I could backups with 3 GB / min.
What goes wrong here?
Should I check some settings on the NetApp / reset?
Does this make the switch?

Hi and welcome to the Communities!
Well, if you haven't changed anything else then probably it is just a dodgy cable. Looking at the new throughput (6.6Mbit/s) your link speed may be now reduced to only 10Mbit/s.
Previous transfer was at 0.4Gbit/s, so the link speed had to be 1Gbit/s.
Regards,
Radek

Hi Radek,
Thanks for the quick response.
Besides the cables, I have nothing changed.
How can I easily check the new throughput.
Please look at the attached file.
Best regards,
Faeq Sediqi
