Hi All,
we are planning to implemetent the snapmanager for SAP for windows machine (Virtual Machine) and this Vm is running on NFS datastore.
please let us know SMSAP is support the NFS or not for windows plantform.

SnapManager suite supports server running as VM. Refer FAQ: SnapManager suite
SnapDrive windows 6.3 onwards supports VMs running in vmdk or NFS datastores. Refer

We want to implement the SMSAP to Windows environment(with NFS Datastore). which you have shared document refers to snapmanager, so whether it is supportable or not.
SAP running on Windows(VM) server and prsented with NFS datastore (VMDK ).
i think NFS is not support for SMSAP, please let us know it is support or not.

yes, it does. Refer SnapManager 3.0 for SAP Installation and Administration Guide
A FlexClone license is required to take full advantage of SnapManager with NFS databases. SnapManager uses the FlexClone feature to accomplish these tasks: • Mount backups of NFS databases • Verify backups of NFS databases • Clone NFS databases on page 264. Refer page 37 shows FCP, iSCSI, NFS protocols as supported.

Hi Sahana,
I have reffered which you have shared document in page 37, NFS/NFS datastore is support only UNIX environment.
IMT matrix also showing only FC/ISCSI protocols if you select the windows host NFS protocol grade out.
Please let us know whether VMDK file ie NFS datastore support or not for SMSAP.
if it is support could you please share Matrix and installation procedure.
