We are beginning a migration of our databases from Oracle 11g to 12c. We're currently cloning DB's with SMO but the 12c db's will be implemented as CDB's, which SMO apparently doesn't support. I've searched this site and found two similar threads (listed below) but no real solutions. Is there any documentation available on cloning PDB's? Will SMO support CDB/PDB at some point or do I need to move to a different soliution? If a different solution is needed is Snap Creator or NetApp Cloning Plugin better (where "better" is primarily in terms of ease of deployment.
