I was working on optimizing performance for MS SQL volumes and have quite a good feedback from DBAs
However I still want to know how to properly read out put of reallocate measure command.
What is the meaning of string optimization. all other are self explainable.
Reallocation scans are on
/vol/sqlserver1/lun.0:
State: Idle
Schedule: n/a
Interval: 1 day
Optimization: 1
Measure Log: n/a
/vol/vanibisqlwqa1_sprocket_insightstglog/lun.0:
State: Idle
Schedule: n/a
Interval: 1 day
Optimization: 1
Measure Log: n/a
thanks

This is fragmentation level. 1 is the best (no fragmentation). Max depends on Data ONTAP version, historically it was 16, today I think it can go up to 64.

So to summarize 1 is the best and 64 is the worst. Is it correct ?
PS is there any doc, TR etc... ?

Hello,
For reallocation command to be successfully run is there an space restrictions that we should have on the Aggregates?
Thanks for your feedback.
