Hello,

Is it possible to restore to another farm, which is in other AD domain?

For example, there is a production site backup, and want to restore a part of it to a test environment

which is on a other AD domain.

Test domain can have trusted relationship.

Yes you can, just make sure both farms are managed by the same manager / controller and everything should work fine.
