SMO Operations over protected backups

HI All,

I want know if is supported SMO mount and cloning operations using protected backups (PM and SnapVault)

I see in SMO docs that backup protection policy is not supported for cloning. It is right?

I want know if the same restriction is for mount operations too.

It depends.

SMO/SMSAP 3.0.3 and :

- restoring from secondary(protected) backup works

- mounting from secondary(protected) backup works

- cloning from secondary(protected) backup works

Then SMO docs must be updated because SMO admin guide show that cloning don't work with backup PM policy.

I have some problems because cloning and mount operations is not working from secondary storage.
