When performing snapshot deletion after a backup completes, does the retention policy ignore snapshots from previous backups that failed. For example if our policy is to keep the last 14 backups, but there were two backups that had a failure in the past few weeks, does it actually keep 16 snapshots - 14 "Good" backups per our policy and 2 "Bad" backups.
Thanks

Hi,
It will retain 14 good backups, failed backups are not counted. Refer the table https://library.netapp.com/ecmdocs/ECMP1360316/html/GUID-0C8E7494-EBA7-4C71-B452-697BA2CCC536.html
