Hello,
IHAC with the below listed configuration on a brand new server. Their current production environment is running SQL Server 2000. They have mounted a robocopy of their existing database on the new server listed below. I'm not sure if this is a valid configuration. I have seen references to SQL Server 2005 backward compatibility components so it makes me wonder if this is supported.
Upon starting SMsql it errors a few times as I have shown in the attachment. Has anyone had this same experience?
Windows 2003R2 x64 SP2
SQL Server 2008 (SP1)
Snapmanager for SQL 5.0R1P2 x64

They have mounted a robocopy of their existing database on the new server listed below.
Legacy databases have to be migrated to properly work in SQL 2008, that's true both for 2000 & 2005 versions:
