SnapCreator on Sybase script examples

Hi All,

If neccesary for me to get a little overview about Sybase, its current versions, mode to work and to backup.

What differences  are between this one and oracle?

And how can we backup it using SnapCreator, and what restrictions do we have.

Sorry, I know I am requesting a lot oif information, but I hope somebody take cares of my lack of knoweledge in this topic.

The steps/scripts used to backup/restore explained in the Technical Report are incorporated into SnapCreator plug-in for Syabse

Could it work with Sybase IQ v13 on AIX 5.3?

We have not tested this combination, but it should work. Tested on Solaris 10.
