Can Snapcenter be installed to a specific pre-created Database rather than giving it sysadmin permissions and letting it create its own DB?
Thanks,
Matt

Matt,
SnapCenter 1.0 and 1.1 require sa capability to create the database.
There is not an option to create your own database and use it instead.
There will be changes to the database in later releases - please contact us for a roadmap update for more details.
Thanks,
John

Can the Database be renamed once the install is done?

Not to my knowledge - the expectation is that the database is named NSM.
I assume the issue is that you are looking to use an existing SQL cluster for the SnapCenter database and you need to name the database either something more meaningful to you or you need to change the name to match corporate standards.
If you want to email me your requirements for your environment feel free to reach out to me directly via email (spinks -at- netapp dot com).
Thanks!
John
