We've been using Snap Manager for sql server for backups which includes snap mirroring to a disaster recovery site. Management is now considering adding Transparent Data Encryption to one of the databases. I'd like to find documentation and/or reports on how this was successful ( or not ) along with guidelines, pitfalls, etc.
Sql server 2012 enterprise on a windows server 2008 R2 cluster.

Please use this link as a documented reference for the use of TDE in your SMSQL configuration.
Furthermore, this information will be included in an upcoming release of the SMSQL Administration Guide.
