Tape library (quantum scaler i500) doesn't show up in fas2552

Hi,

To achieve NDMP, tape library (quantum scaler i500) is zoned with fc switches using nexus 5k to FAS2552 cluster ontap.

However tape library is not discovered in netapp.

This table is currently empty.

zone has been mapped with pwwn as follows

vsan 1: pwwn of 0c node1, first pwwn of scaler i500

vsan 1: pwwn of 0c node2, first pwwn of scaler i500

vsan 2: pwwn of 0d node1, second pwwn of scaler i500

vsan 2: pwwn of 0d node2, second pwwn of scaler i500

Can someone please shed some light?

Is the port type an initiator??

If it is initiator, disable port of switch and enable it.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like zoned fc ports are set to target... I guess that was the problem.
