backup to Tape directly from SnapVault Secondary

Hi,

Can we configure the backup to Tape directly from SnapVault Secondary
without involving any other backup application like Symantec Netbackup,
Backup Exec … etc?

Use Snapmirror to tape.

this works directly from the filer.

You can also use dump. SMTape is available only in the recent versions of Data ONTAP ( I think its 8.0 or later)
