Dear all,
I was setting up a backup for SnapManagerExchange through SnapCreator. In the backup-config I give a name for the Snapshots but finally the name of a prevoius snapshot is used instead.
I want this names to be like I defined them in SnapCreator as I want to create schedules for HOURLY and DAILY SnapShots, so I can have several schedules and still can identify the Snaps by name.
What step am I missing?
Any help is much appreciated.
screenshots are attached.
WR,
Moray

Hello Siva,
Powershell config path is pointing from SnapCreator server to the exchange server:
"C:\Program Files\IBM\SnapManager for Exchange\smeshell.psc1"
Backup options:
-Server 'VET001' -GenericNaming -ManagementGroup 'Standard' -NoTruncateLogs $False -StorageGroup 'MAILBOXDB' -RetainBackups 4
Thanks for helping
Moray
