For those on UNIX using scAgent 3.4.0 in the file scAgent3.4.0/config/agent.conf the syntax of the host: parameters are :
host: userid:password@scServer.example.com
* wildcard is allowed
for example : host: *@scserver.example.com
The admin guide is missing this information too.
The userid:password@scServer is only for people who want to use APIs and code their own scServer, in other words they arent using an scServer. For everyone using the scServer it is host: scServer@* or scServer@<ip address>
