Any document is talking about DDP Data write ?

DDP is very like Seagate ADAPT,

ADAPT write data always write into 10 drive, and every drive will write 512KB Page, and this 10 drive's 512KB page will be a 4MB space

How about DDP ?

This document just say how the d-stripe layout,

but don't say how the data been write into the drive,

The D-Stripe is use to allocate the space,

but I believe the data write will not use all the d-stripe,

because application is not always write 4GB data into drive every time!

Regardless, writes are always in D-stripes.

But if you want to ask a different question - what happens with writes smaller than D-stripes capacity - please wait a bit until someone from the E-Series team or other person knowledgeable about that detail sees this thread. It may take some time as many folks are already vacationing.
