Hello,

 

I'm trying to do this commande on Redhat 7.4  but this one don't work.

I have already  restart the both machines.

 

[root@localhost ~]#SMcli E2800-CTRL-A

 

Network errors were detected while connecting to storage system E2800-CTRL-A.
Please check for any network problems and verify that there are fewer than the maximum allowed TCP connections.

SMcli failed.

 

- But I ping the host since my redhat server

 

[root@localhost ~]# ping E2800-CTRL-A
PING E2800-CTRL-A (10.0.1.128) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from E2800-CTRL-A (10.0.1.128): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.090 ms
^C

 

- I has installed this packages :

 

SMclient-LINUX-11.42.0G00.0003-1.noarch.rpm

SMesm-LINUX-11.40.0G00.0003-1.noarch.rpm

SMruntime-LINUX-11.42.0A00.0003-1.x86_64.rpm

SMutil-LINUX-11.40.0A00.0003-1.x86_64.rpm

SMagent-LINUX-11.40.0A00.0003-1.x86_64.rpm

 

- Any ideas ?

Hello, I found it.

 

I put  "SMcli SAN -p  myusername -k mypass"  and it's work

Not only icpm is required, check that you can connect to port 2463 of the controller
