Another non-question question from me, this time it's about Ubuntu, iSER and (of course) E-Series.
If you must or want to use Ubuntu and it has to be fast, iSER gives you hundreds of Gb/s for iSCSI over RDMA.
As Ubuntu isn't officially supported, it's best to reach out to NetApp and ask for qualification and instructions.
But you can also go ahead and do it by yourself. My main recommendation is to use Mellanox OFED and that's all.
