e5500 controller - Sub-Model Identifier vs iSCSI feature key issue

Hi all!

i would like to re-configure the Host Interface Cards on my eseries controllers to iSCSI.

At the moment, HICs are configured for FC.

I have 2x of the following controllers in a dual controller config installed in a 5524 chassis:

Location: Tray 0, Slot A

Current Package Version: 08.20.11.00

Current NVSRAM Version: N5501-820834-DB5

Board ID: 5501

Sub-Model ID: 238

I am able to generate the HIC FC to iSCSI feature key file as per the procedure in the following doc:

Converting a Fibre Channel Host Interface Card to iSCSI

https://library.netapp.com/ecm/ecm_download_file/ECMP12432518

however the e5500 key generated is for Sub-Model ID 197 and is promptly rejected by santricity as the Sub-Model ID of my controllers reports as 238.

error:

Sub-Model identifier of storage array: 238

Sub-Model Identifier contained in file: 197

please let me know how i can configure my controller SMID to 197 or generate a feature key for SMID 238.

A solution or any advice would be greatly apreciated.

best,

-Nick
