Silent Installation of Santricity Web Services Proxy Fails | CentOS 6.4

Hi All,

When I try to install santricity web proxy services (in silent mode) on centos 6.4/ubuntu 14.04 it doesn't throw any error.

However, when I check the process from backend, its not started.

Command Used for Silent Installation:

$ ./webservice-01.30.7000.0002.bin -i silent

In addition to this, when I try to do the installation via GUI the installation works smooth and the services comes up in running state.

Can anyone help me out to figure out what the issue is ?

Let me know any additional information is required.

Note:

The logs from log file "NetApp_SANtricity_Web_Services_Proxy_Installion*.log", located inside directory /opt/netapp/santricity_web_services_proxy shows that installation was successfull eventhough it wasn't.

Hi,

 Change to the root directory and at the command prompt, type the below command,

 To start the web Services Proxy webserver, type "/etc/init.d/web_services_proxy start"
 
or

To restart the web services Proxy webserver, type " /etc/init.d/web_services_proxy restart"

After Web Services Proxy has restarted, start a Web services proxy web session and verify that the changes have taken effect.
