I have a Windows 2012 storage server with in-built drives. Have purchased FAS 2720A and planning to transfer all data. Can someone confirm what options I have to ensure smooth migration along with file permissions? I checked XCP but not getting details like how it will handle permissions while moving data. As well I can see a few 3rd party tools which are appearing very easy compared to the setup of Netapp XCP.
