SAS shelf with SSD and spining disks

Hi ,

I am trying to determine if you can mix disk types on a SAS stack which already contains spining disk with SSD.  I would imagine this is not a best practice but cant find documentation to back this up.  Can you mix disk type x343 (1713.5 gb ) with X357a (3.8 Tb SSD ) ?

Thanks

Matt

No problem.   Just to note, there are limits as the the amout of SSD shelves you can have in a stack though.   But you can put sas and ssd in the same stack.
