SnapCenter plugin fails to upgrade

We are getting eh following error when we try to upgarde the snapcenter plugin on the hosts from SnapCenter web GUI:

Failed to set host 'abc' in Maintenance mode. The plug-in services might be down. Ensure that the plug-in services are up and running to proceed.

We restarted the plugin and tried to suspend schedule but its not working.

Please help.

Prior to upgrade, have you put the plug-in host in maintenance mode ?
