Hello everybody,
I have two node HyperV R2 Cluster (using CSV), and try to backup my vm on each node.
Storage is FAS2020A with 12x600, with one LUN called HyperV with store VM.
So, my backup server is SRV-HV4, which is one of two node, run SMHV and SnpaDrive.
This node have two VM no critical running on it...
So below repartition of my VM :
SRV-HV1 : srv-imp
SRV-HV4 : srv-anl1
Owner of volume is SRV-HV1.
So when i backup my dataset called no-critical-vm, Vm called srv-imp backup successfully, but Vm called srv-anl1 doesn't backup !
On srv-anl1 i have this message : "SnapManager for Hyper-V is not licensed on the host or in the Storage System, backup is aborted. Failed to completed"
I think i have this error because SRV-HV4 is not the owner of the shared volume...
so have you an idea to backup my two VM successfully ??
Thanks a lot !

Until the SnapDrive patch is release, you may move both the VMs to the CSV owner node to make your SMHV backup successfull.

Use Configuration Manager to specify your snapinfo location and you should be back in business.
