Static VHDs and DeDup

Untill now we have been using Dynamic Disks for our Hyper-V VHD files since space was precious and the performance hit wasn't so crucial to us. If we enable DeDup on our Hyper-V CSV LUNs, and switch over to using Static VHDs, would DeDup return the Null/Empty space created, essentially, giving us Static disks with a Dynamic cost?

Thanks,
Reuvy

Yes it will. It works very well and will dedupe the non empty space also.
