is it possible to get a list or export of usage of all cifs shares on vfiler?
size/used/unused or something like that?
If i recall correctly you need an unlimited default quota on the volume so the filer counts the amount of data and then you can use Z-AP or OnCommand to gather these data.
ok, sounds interesting. what is Z-AP?
but my questions was more if i could use powershell to list disk usage on filer per folder and then to an csv.
have anyone done this?
The ONTAP maximum file limits is lesser than the maximum possible number of files supported by ONTAP for a volume. This video explains the reason why ONTAP has this lower limit on the file count.
Here’s a quick tutorial on how to check system information on the NetApp Support Site.
Learn to correct an error message when ONTAP reports that a volume is out of inodes because it has reached the maximum files.
