My current situation is as follows: We used to be heavy on various NetApp arrays, and our legacy backup system was BackupExec12. Some tape backups from net apps were done using NDMP backups. Since we migrated loads to HCI and Cloud and decommissioned all Netapp hardware.
If I need to restore an old NDMP backup from tapes, would using Ontap-V/Edge as a destination be possible?
I've checked the docs, but I can't see Ontap-V/Edge documentation mention NDMP at all - neither as a supported nor unsupported feature.
What are possible alternatives?
