NFSv4 TCP Ports

I am working to implement NFSv4 in my QA environment.  NFSv3 has sufficed up until now, however we have servers behind a firewall that now need access to exports.  We decided to implement NFSv4 (with no delegations) because it was more firewall friendly.  I have requested that TCP port 2049 be opened, however my servers are still unable to connect.  The firewall rule is not bidirectional...should it be?  Are there any other ports that need to be opened on the firewall to allow NFSv4 communication?

Hi Demond,

Did you finally manage to do that ? If so, which ports did you open on the firewall ?

Thanks.

Best Regards,

David
