Hi,

I have a NetApp 7 Mode working with NFS and CIF,with the CIFs I delete a big file with 600 Gb from a backup but the space isn't back in the CIF. Can someone give me a idea for what happend. And how I can restore the space.

You need to see what your snap reserve is set too..

As noted, can you provide us with the amount of snap reserve you have configured / size of volume / how many snapshots are currently on the volume? When you delete from the volume, the deleted content will be locked in any existing snapshots until they expire. And if the amount of deleted space is larger than the snap reserve, the difference will still show in the volume usage.

First of all, a lot of thanks for yours replies.

Are you sure no snapshots?

Can you provide the output of "snap list"? Snap status? Df -h?

Snap reserve wouldn't matter here - that just reserves a chunk of the volume for snapshots. What matters is if you have actual snapshots, as they would lock that space until they roll off.
