Hi,

I have been told that best mount options for Netapp nfs share for linux is : rw,vers=3,rsize=32768,wsize=32768,hard,tcp,lock,proto=tcp,timeo=600,retrans=5

Is there a suggestion for FreeBSD 7.X and also Solaris 10 ? I am getting really poor performance on these operating systems.

Regards.

Here are some best practice examples for NFS mount options with databases.  I also found a kb article which is a bit dated but hopefully may be some help.
