Hello,

I can not access the share /etc$. I need to copy the OS file in /etc/software

I started CIFS as workgroup, but I can not access the share because I lost the Administrator password. How I can change it?

Hi dvillegas,

You can change the local administrator password from the filer console. I hope you can login to filer locally ?

You can reset the password using 'passwd' command.

filer> passwd
Login: administrator
New password:
Retype new password:
filer>

Once the password is set, access the admin share from the windows machine via \\filername\c$

Thanks,
