Adding inodes

Hi there,

I have a snapmirrored volume where I'd like to add inodes since we're at 98% now. Since I need to add on both source and destination volumes, I try to add to the destination volume first, I get an error:

maxfiles: Volume volume2 is a readonly volume; you cannot change the inode count.

How do I change it?

It sounds like you're using Volume Snapmirror. In that case, just run maxfiles on the source volume, the destination will automatically adjust with the next snapmirror update.
