Hello,
we have a vSphere 8 Cluster and an AFF8040 connected via NFS to each Host.
My question is, what is the best virtual SCSI Controller for the Windows vm's. At this time we use the paravirtual Controller, but somewhere I read that the virtual NVMe Controller would be better.
Is there a best practise for this?
Thanks.

our most recent article on the subject is at https://kb.netapp.com/onprem/ontap/da/SAN/How_to_improve_VM_throughput_using_Paravirtualized_SCSI_in_VMWare and suggests paravirtual SCSI. You may wish to conduct your own testing - please feel free to post results if you do.
