Bye bye FAS2050 ..

Looks like the FAS2050 is being phased out. It seems reasonable to believe that the FAS2020 will be phased out soon as well.

Will the FAS2040 become the new entry-level filer ?

Will ONTAP 7.x see a feature freeze ?

I was gonna say I hadn't seen the EOA notice in my email, but it looks like it's scheduled for Tuesday.

As for Data ONTAP 7.x - I wouldn't guess it's going to be evolving, but that's just a guess.

There's a guy on the internal 'direction' group I could send an email, but I'd rather wait and enjoy what we have.

Eugene,

Yup. Stuff shows up there on NOW shortly before the due date.

BTW I was googling the other day about aggregate snapshot reserve and one of your posts came up. It was great

Thank you, very much, on both accounts.

I don't spend enough time wander'n 'round the NOW site.

You must have found the aggr snap thread on linkedin.com ?

We had another thread here on the communities site.

It's on of those discussions I've regularly brought up in classes.

I was still waking up when I read your reply.

For a moment I thought you were going to say you had googled me ...

: )
