Greetings NetApp Community,
I'm working on a MetroCluster setup with two (NetApp AFF A220) across two sites (3KM distance). We'll utilize a 100Gb DWDM link. However, our ONTAP version (v13.1) doesn't seem to support NetApp CN1610 switches.
I've reviewed the compatibility list (https://mysupport.netapp.com/info/communications/ECMLP2859128.html) and see mostly Nexus switches listed. We have a Cisco Nexus N9K-C93180YC-EX available. Would this be a suitable cluster interconnect even if it's not explicitly listed?
Any guidance on best switch options would be greatly appreciated.

I would not take a chance with it. Look at getting the NetApp replacement: BES-53248.
This is a direct replacement for the CN1610. It provides 10/25/40/100G capabilities (if you get the extra license packs)

hello:
The best choice for a cluster switch can be the BES-53248 model. This switch supports transmission speeds of 10/40 or 25/50/100GbE.
The following link provides some introductions and specification sheets of this switch.

Best regards.
