Consistent LUN backup with Snapdrive and Protection Manager

I'm trying to make consistent snapshots using snapdrive in combination with our protection manager datasets, i have taken a look at the sdcli dataset commands, but i'm unsure on how to implement this.

I did manage to create a backup using the sdcli dataset commands, but it was 'on-demand' (and the snapshots were created with no retention period (thus indefinatly) and the backup was still not consistent.

Can anybody help me with what commands (and how) to use to create consistent (LUN) snapshots?

Hi, did you ever manage to do this? I need to use Protection Manager to create consistent SnapShots of a LUN presented to a Windows Server with a retention.
