DB SnapShot Not Consistent without Snapmanager ??

Hi All,

We are planning to SnapVault one of the DB LUN and i have heard that SnapVaulting a DB LUN without a SNAPMANAGER will not have consistent snapshots at the SnapVault destination as Snapvault is based on Snapshots. Is this true is there any other choice to do this without SnapManager ???. Please advise.

Based on my understanding , You need to have snapmanager.

Say i have already added this volume in to SNAPNMANAGER now what all the settings i need to change to SNAPVAULT this volume??
