Default Snapmirror destination aggregate

Hi,

When creating a new Snapmirror relationship, there is no option to choose which aggregate the destination volume will be placed on.  Destination volumes are therefore being created on our performance disks, whereas we would prefer these on our capacity disks.  We are currently having to move the volumes to a different aggregate which seems inefficient. 

Is there a way to set which aggregate should be used for new snapmirror relationship destination volumes?

Hi,

You doing this in CLI or GUI..?

If CLI then defiently you can specify the volume on your capacity disks and then inititalize the snapmirror..

-->create a data protection volume on your capacity disks on target side.

--> then initialize the snapmirrr snapmirror..

Sorry, yes in the GUI.  I can do it in the CLI but I know others will prefer to use the GUI.

Sorry to see that in 9.3 they removed the option for selecting the aggregate when creating a snapmirror relationship..
