Do I have to break the snapmirror relationship to increast the inodes on the mirrored volume

Hi all,

I ave a mirrored pair myFiles/vol_high  and myFilesBU/vol_highbu

Both got to the point where the number of inodes had to be increased.

I increased them on myfiles with the command:

maxfiles vol_high 75000000. All was fine

I tried to increase them on myFileBu with the command

maxfiles vol_highBU 75000000

and got this

maxfiles: Volume vol_highBU is a readonly volume; you cannot change the inode count.

I tried quiescing the snapmirror and got the same message.

Do I really have to break and reestablish the relationship to change the numbe of inodes?

thanks

kent
