Freeing up space on a node’s root volume (vol0) ONTAP 9.1

The root aggregate alert on 95% used space , how can i clean some space or Increase size , please note that i do not have any core dump files  or *.trc files to delete . The autosize mode is off as well.

Which is alerting aggr or volume?    The root aggr is showing 95% because the root vol is set to thick.  This is normal.   

 

If the volume is alerting that you are 95% free,  I would first check to see how many ONTAP install packages you have saved.

Did you check and see how many install images you have?     Those can add up.

Thanks   a lot! , it was 5%  and i set it 3 % ,  so now used space is 93% .
