Hello,
I'm currently converting an old MCC FAS3240 to a classic HA PAIR.
I cabled c0a to c0a and c0b to c0b for each controler, however, HA is not working at all with this error message :
FAS3240A*> cf status
FAS3240B is up, takeover disabled because of reason (interconnect error)
FAS3240A has disabled takeover by FAS3240B (interconnect error)
VIA Interconnect is down (link 0 down, link 1 down).
FAS3240A*> cf monitor all
cf: Current monitor status (17Feb2021 14:48:04):
partner 'FAS3240B', VIA Interconnect is down (link 0 down, link 1 down)
HA Interconnect Device is FCVI ( Qlogic 2532 )
It looks it's trying to use another PCI card, isn't it ?
In my sisconfig -a
slot 0: Dual 10G Ethernet Controller T320E-SFP/KR
Device Type: CT-FE-3
Version Number: T3-SRAM1.1.0-BR1016-02-01-FW7.7.209-DR04
Serial Number: jb04050693
c0a MAC Address: 00:a0:98:17:9a:06 (auto-10g_sr-fd-up)
c0b MAC Address: 00:a0:98:17:9a:07 (auto-10g_sr-fd-up)
Any idea ?
Thanks

Can you check the HA status from Maintenance mode boot?
change it from mcc to ha
Good luck!
Yes, already tried that, it's in HA mode.
Both nodes have been reset to default factory.

Well done, you're right, that was exactly my problem, both controlers were trying to communicate using FCVI cards.
I didn't find the way from the maintenance mode to disable that adapters so decided to physically remove them from both controlers. HA is now correctly configured using both c0a & c0b ports.
Thanks a lot for your help.
