How to purchase NetApp Rapid Clonign utility ?

Hy,

hope I posted into the right forum. I work at a software company, and I do allot of cloning, manual and scripting, then I saw the NetApp product on youtube; I want to know how to buy this product, and how much does it cost ??

The RCU is a free utility which can be used in conjunction with NetApp FAS systems with a FlexClone license.

The RCU makes use of technology embedded in NetApp FAS systems (FlexClone, which is a function of Data ONTAP - the embedded storage system software). The actual cloning is done on the storage system, the RCU is the interface for ease of management. So yes, you'd need a NetApp storage system to make effective use of the tool.

BTW you would need flexclone license on your storage system.
