How to retireve licenses on formatted Controllers

Hi

On my FAS2240, I cleared all existing ONTAP licenses during initialization. Is there a way I can get the licensed features back on the nodes from netapp support site?

I was not the one who registered the system and those who did cannot be reached currently.

Licenses aren't transferable, however if your company is the original owner you can try here: 

Otherwise, check with your SE and see if they can help track it down.

       The simplest and most effective way is to contact netAPP technical support to tell him your device serial number and ask him to get a new license file
