Licenses required for Dedupe?

Can someone please clarify what licences are required to enable Dedupe on a FAS2050?  As I understand I need licenses for NearStore and Deduplication.  I've read somewhere that both these licences are free (we are on Ontap v7.3.1.1) but how does one acquire licence keys?

The license for Dedupe is a_sis. If the license is added or showing as ENABLED and Nearstore is also there, kindly check the option licensed_feature.nearstore_option.enable . It should be on.

If I look in "Software LIcences" it doesn't show up at all

If the dedupe license was not ordered with the system, you need to do a "0 dollar" order with your netapp sales.
