Marking discussion solutions

Hi,   I created this discussion:
  https://community.netapp.com/t5/ONTAP-Discussions/Google-Cloud-NetApp-Volume-performance/m-p/458864#M44712

Another user accepted a reply as a solution, but that reply was not a solution to my issue. Does this mean my discussion is closed to other solutions? Why is the original poster not the only person who can mark a reply as a solution?

Good question!

I reviewed the timeline here and would like to explain what happened.

Your original question was posted on February 5. The response from Adithya was posted on February 25, which should've notified you of the response. This first response also triggers a 3 day period when another note is sent.

We regularly see community members ask a question, get an "answer," and never come back to let us know if the response received was helpful. As such, one of our support managers was reviewing outstanding community posts and marked Adithya's reply as the solution. This usually works out. Fortunately, it doesn't mean that there can't be followup conversation, and the "solution" has been unmarked.

I'll make sure you get another response in the thread to move things forward.
