i would like to know how i can ssh from controller 1 onto controller 2 from the same ssh window.
When you ssh into the cluster shell the context is already ALL controllers in the cluster.
You can pass node shell commands to any controller with the 'system node run' command.

I hope this response has been helpful to you.At your service,Eugene E. Kashpureff, Sr.Independent NetApp Consultant http://www.linkedin.com/in/eugenekashpureffSenior NetApp Instructor, IT Learning Solutions http://sg.itls.asia/netapp(P.S. I appreciate 'kudos' on any helpful posts.)
In Addition of that, remember that the commands that you type from the node shell are not cluster aware, it is recommended to run all commands from the cluster shell indicating the node if you want to run an specific command in a node.
