NFS mount showing incorrect capacity - tree quota set on qtree - snapshot configured on the volume.

We have configured a volume with 250 GB capacity. Qtree is configured using the volume and hard tree quota of 200 GB is set.
The volume also has snapshot configured with 30 days retention.

On the Linux host where the NFS is mounted, it is showing capacity 116 GB which is quota capacity - (used capacity + snapshot capacity).

Is there a way to force displaying the quota capacity on the host?

Hello @VaibhavLal ,

Currently, there is no way to force the hard limit quota to be displayed in a UNIX client. More details are Space Display UNIX Client Concept and the following KB How Quotas Display with NFS Client.

Hi

snapshot capacity in your sentence is snapshot space used or snapshot reserve?

its is strange... snapshots files should not count against quota capacity

can you show some more information?

how are you checking space capacity?

how are you mounting the qtree?
