Need NetApp S3 access in our lab

We have a NetApp AFF cluster with storageGRID configured in our data center, meantime we have another small AFF  cluster in our lab without any network connections to our data center.

we have a need to share data between these two sites either through NFS or storageGRID or S3, prefer with single network link. is there any easy way to archive this?

Hi @FelixZhou ,

You really need to provide some further information as how can you share data between the two sites when there is no network connection between your lab and your data center?

If you have some way to connect the two, and would like to use NFS then you could use NetApp FlexCache, with the primary site being your data center and the remote site being your lab. https://www.netapp.com/data-storage/what-is-flex-cache/

FlexCache was average in the past, but with later code versions (I have tested with ONTAP 9.16.1 code) it has improved vastly.  There are some catches, but its all documented in the NetApp documentation https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap/flexcache/
