This question is for both 7-mode and cDOT.
Our LDAP Netgroups are nested, and can be 8 levels deep.
According to this KB - https://kb.netapp.com/support/index?id=3010240&page=content&locale=en_US
It appears im about of luck because all the nested groups expand and the character limit is what we hit
So, if UNIX_COMPUTERS is top level and i do
getXXbyYY netgrp UNIX_COMPUTERS servername
I get an error, but if I try a few levels up, it finds it.
Am I totally out of luck. What are others doing with large netgroups and LDAP
