NetApp Hot Spare Group Per Cluster (redundant system)

Hi,

is there any way to configure a spare per redundant system, not per chassis.

what we need to do is to have a global spare disk to be utilized for both chassis not to stick to one of them.

Hi Mohamed,

No, sadly there is no way to achieve what you want - hot-spares are always assigned to a particular controller.
